ECON 504 - Economic Forecasting

This course covers time-series analysis and forecasting with econometric and time series models, and provides information about model choice, diagnostic statistics, as well as hands-on forecasting experience. Format: Lecture, problem sets, a midterm, a comprehensive final exam. Computer assignments using R are crucial components of this course. Prerequisites: Grades of C or better in ECON 362 and 466; also grades of B- or better (or AP score of 4) in college level statistics and calculus.
