EML 391 - ELL Outreach and Persistence

Credits: 2

This course is designed to explore the issues faced by international students while assimilating into American academic culture through the lens of persistence. The course is reflection based, with reflection on experiences as well as academic readings in the form of discussions and journaling. Student are required to mentor new international students a minimum of 1 hour per week.
