The Master of Science in Information Systems degree (MS IS) prepares students for careers in information technology, spanning from the utilization of sophisticated AI and ML tools for data gathering and analysis, to the design, configuration, and deployment of information systems. Management of teams tasked with work of this nature is also within the scope of the program.
This program offers an optional track in Applied Data Science.

Admission Requirements
Holders of a baccalaureate degree who have adequate programming skills in at least one programming language are invited to apply for admission to the MS in Information Systems program. International applicants must satisfy the University-required English proficiency requirement. MS in Information Systems
Core Courses (9 credits)
Complete the following three required courses (total of nine credits): Elective Courses (21 credits)
Complete a total of 21 credits (seven elective courses) chosen from the following list: Termination Project (1 credit)
Complete the INFO 595 Termination Project course. MS in Information Systems with Applied Data Science Track
To meet the requirements to complete the applied data science track in the MS in Information Systems, students must complete the following courses within their 21 credits of electives: Two required applied data science courses:
Two applied data science electives chosen from the following list:
